Synopsis

Lawyers Jacob Fernandez, Stephanie Szeto and Sanjay Devaraj, along with Razali Hamzah, Nick Han and Audrey Soh from the police force, will race against time to solve crimes and bring the perpetrators to justice. Amidst the challenging new cases, a captivating serial killer, Derek Ho, emerges. Derek Ho leads a double life. A suave and charming high-flying banker by day and by night, a murderer with an abnormal psychological gratification for killing. He is introduced to Stephanie and soon, the two are dating. As their relationship develops, the plot thickens as danger looms.

Episode 1

09 April 2018 - Episode 1

When several students at Aspira Polytechnic are taken hostage by two guntoting fellow students, Insp Han and SSSgt Razali – already at the school for a talk – try to prevent a massacre from occuring. Meanwhile, the suave and charming Derek Ho, a high-flying banker, meets a girl at a supermarket. He knocks her out and takes her to his private space in an abandoned building where he kills her. The next day, he is introduced to Stephanie Szeto.

16 April 2018 - Episode 2

Jacob and Stephanie are hired to defend one of the Aspira Poly school shooters, Matthew Yong. The other shooter, Luke, is represented by one of Jacob’s old rivals, Elaine Loh, who is determined to save her own client, even if it is at the expense of Jacob’s. SSSgt Miki Lee goes undercover in order to gather evidence against a seemingly-untouchable night club owner and drug lord, Ang. However, Ang’s right-hand man, Kin has suspected the truth.

Episode 3

23 April 2018 - Episode 3

Miki’s cover as one of Ang’s bar girls is blown and she is captured. Han and Sam must race against time to find her before she is killed by Ang and Kin. Han and Razali investigate a home invasion that ends up with a father and daughter brutally bludgeoned to death. The only survivor – their maid, who is hailed as a hero for trying to warn her employers. Despite their estranged past, Jacob offers Elaine a job at Devaraj and Associates.

30 April 2018 - Episode 4

Elaine and her associate, Brendan, face an uphill battle defending Ang as he wants them to bend the law for him. The Home Invasion case takes a interesting turn when evidence is foundlinking the maid, Aini, to the alleged murderer. Derek disposes of his latest victim’s body but is stopped by a Traffic Police Officer – with his tools in the back of his car.

A young child is found murdered in his flat with both his parents lying unconscious next to him. The case takes a tragic and highly emotional turn when one of the parents is suspected of the murder. Han and Razali investigate the murder of a young girl, and discover a link to Michael Kang, a national track-and-field star bound for international sporting fame.

14 May 2018 - Episode 6

Han and Razali discover a sinister link in the murder investigation of national hero and track-and-field star Michael Kang. They also become laughing-stocks of the nation when they try to chase him down and arrest him. Meanwhile, a tragic story develops in the Singaporean heartland when an elderly woman, Rosie Chu, is strangled to death.

21 May 2018 - Episode 7

The investigation into the murder of senior citizen Rosie Chu leads Sam and Miki to an unlikely place – a male stripper bar. Jacob is hired to defend Michael Kang for murder and comes up against a brick wall – Michael’s over-protective father, Nelson. Derek goes to dump the body of his latest kill, only to discover that Han, Razali and their team have found his secret burial ground.

28 May 2018 - Episode 8

National athlete Michael Kang’s murder trial looks like an uphill battle for lawyers Jacob and Stephanie, until an eleventh-hour revelation sheds new light on the case. Jacob and Elaine clash over her defence strategy for elderly client, Liang – on trial for the murder of his wife, Rosie. Elaine wants to argue that Liang killed his wife in his sleep, but Jacob disapproves. Meanwhile, Derek is brought in for interrogation by Han and Razali.

04 June 2018 - Episode 9

A young girl collapses and dies on the street after what appears to be an all night sex party. Han and Razali find themselves up against a higher order when the trail leads to a foreign ambassador. Meanwhile, a foreman at a construction site is slashed to death. When Sam and Miki dig deeper, they realize that the murder victim could also be a murderer himself. Derek picks up his next target – a young foreign girl, Sophie – but is sent into a panic.

Episode 10

11 June 2018 - Episode 10

Han and Razali go after a foreign diplomat Frederick Chastings, who uses diplomatic immunity to try and beat a murder charge. Sam and Miki discover that their murder victim, Jon Rozario, has a sensational past that goes back to a cold case in Boston … and the murder of a young Singaporean girl. The net closes in on Derek, and decides to make a break for it – by leaving the country permanently.

Episode 11

18 June 2018 - Episode 11

Foreign diplomat Frederick Chastings is charged with murder, but before the case can go to trial, there is a sudden turn of events that leads to Han taking out a personal vendetta on him. Stephanie must come to terms with the fact that her boyfriend, Derek Ho, is one of Singapore’s most notorious serial killers … while Jacob is hired to defend him. Derek’s sordid past comes to light, shocking the lawyers even more.
